SUMMARY:Summer Band Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:Get in the Christmas spirit with a special holiday concert by the Yankton Area Summer Band led by Huron HS Band Director\, James Stueckrath!\n\nThe Yankton Area Summer Band (YASB) is made up of fifty to one hundred area volunteer musicians that include high school and college students as well as adults are invited to perform an hour-long concert held immediately following an hour-long rehearsal. The participating musicians learn alongside amateur and professional musicians who both play and conduct each week. The YASB is managed by local band teacher\, Gwen Wenisch who has been playing with the summer band since she was in 8th grade.\n\nFollowing the concert join us in the HS Commons for a cookie and cider reception hosted by Explorer's Credit Union.\n\nAll concerts are free to the public due to support from the City of Yankton and the Yankton Parks and Recreation Department.
