SUMMARY:The Nutcracker Ballet
DESCRIPTION:Add some sparkle to your holiday season! The Dakota Dance Association of Yankton\, SD will be presenting Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Ballet" at the Yankton High School Theatre\, 1801 Summit Street\, Yankton. Performances are Saturday\, November 18 at 2pm and 7pm\, and Sunday\, November 19 at 2pm. \n\n \n\nOver 100 local cast members ranging in from 1st grade to adult will be performing in this year's production. This classic story will transport you from a holiday gathering of friends through the snow country and on to the Kingdom of Sweets where wonderful things to eat and drink come alive. \n\n \n\nDakota Dance Association is excited to bring this holiday tradition to the community!  They welcome back director Linda Haar\, choreographer Dorota Dannenbring and a large group of volunteers behind the scenes. Linda Haar is a Yankton College Theatre graduate who has directed over 80 shows primarily at Bon Homme High School and Lewis and Clark Theatre Company. Dorota Dannenbring is a graduate of the Conservatory of Dance in Warsaw\, Poland and has been a dance instructor in Yankton for over 25 years. \n\n \n\nLet us take you on a magical journey to faraway lands through the power and beauty of dance!
