Description
Some cultures describe The God of Carnage as a formidable force, the governing power of the universe . . . others describe it as judge of the unworthy, a cosmic court that condemns those that try to restrain its influences of chaos . . . others describe it as two middle class couples arguing about their kids. Wait what? Come and see the LCTC production of GOD OF CARNAGE, a hilarious comedy about hamsters, broken teeth, clafouti, and, oh yeah, hamsters.
This 2009 Tony Award Winner depicts two sets of Brooklyn parents that get together to resolve a playground incident between their eleven-year-old sons. After the exchange of some polite chit-chat, tensions emerge, anxieties are exposed and the gloves come off! The evening devolves into chaos as we watch the parents become increasingly childish.
