Stress begins with burnout and leads to depression. It is a process that is wearing down and out of energy. It is and exhaustion born of excessive demands which may be self-imposed or externally imposed by others, your value system and or society. Stress and burnout will impact one’s motivation, attitudes and behavior; therefore, resulting in depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishments.
The purpose of this program is to discuss the process of stress, ways to avoid, alter or adapt the identified stressors, and to set goals that will reduce the stress we feel in our lives.
