United Way of Greater Yankton’s The Clothing Closet program would like to announce a Winter Clothing Drive to support their mission of offering community members who are struggling to make ends meet the opportunity to receive free, quality clothing in a dignified, and welcoming space.
Donations of clean, gently used clothing, shoes, towels, or bedding will be accepted on Thursday, January 20, 12:00pm – 6:00pm, at The Clothing Closet – 203 E 3rd Street, Yankton, SD.
Most needed items include youth clothing (girls sizes 4T - 14), shoes/winter boots, and adult casual clothing.
Household goods, toys, or undergarments WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The Clothing Closet is open to families in need of clothing at 203 E 3rd Street, 2:00pm – 6:00pm each Monday afternoon by appointment only. Vouchers from outside agencies are no longer needed for families to participate, however an initial application process will be conducted asking family demographics and overall need.
Clothing donations WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED outside of the clothing drive times.
