Bookkeeper - Provide Peace, Hope & Efficiency to Clients

Full-time and Part-time Positions Available:  Provide full-cycle bookkeeping services to Limestone clients
Major Role
Consistent with the vision and values of Limestone, Inc., provide full-cycle bookkeeping services to Limestone clients. Ensure quality by performing self-review of all work. Keep clients informed and work with fellow staff members to provide internally-reviewed financial reports in a timely manner.
     Full-cycle bookkeeping for clients – 70% of your time

  • Have fun and promote a positive attitude to clients and team members.
  • Perform transactional bookkeeping for Limestone clients in the following areas:
  • Payroll, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliation, Sales/Use/Excise Tax Filing, Records Management, Financial Statements
     Be responsible and communicate effectively with clients and staff – 20% of your time
  • This position is extremely hands-on and detail-oriented. Limestone bookkeepers need to be self-reliant and responsible for managing tasks and deadlines.
  • The ability to present information to clients and fellow staff members is critical. Limestone employees must be able to define problems, collect data accurately, establish reliable facts and draw valid conclusions.
     Self-improvement and continuous education – 10% of your time
  • Attend weekly training meetings and contribute to discussions
  • Participate in company wide training events
  • Use internal and external resources to become a subject matter expert
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key Performance Indicators
  • Client retention and satisfaction rates meet or exceed targets
  • Client and Limestone tasks are performed on time to acceptable standards
  • Display ownership of client deadlines and ask for help when needed to complete
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and educational opportunities
  • Monthly billing to clients matches value provided and is collected on time

Work Environment
Work can be performed remotely or at the client’s facility. Minimal travel within 30 miles of Limestone's office may be expected for on-site staff. Occasionally, you may be required to work more hours than normal during a regular workweek depending on workload and deadline requirements. All staff are provided the appropriate technology to perform their work effectively both on-site and remotely.
