Qualifications
- The ideal candidate for this job has a background in heavy duty diesel engine and heavy equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate’s job responsibilities will include but not be limited to working with diesel engines, inspecting vehicles, and being responsible for communicating mechanical problems to the mechanic supervisor.
- Troubleshoot and repair trucks, trailers and other vehicles with diesel engines.
- Perform preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, wheels, differentials, clutch/linkage, air systems, electrical systems and starting systems.
- Perform full services and DOT Inspections.
