Mount Marty University invites applications for the Director of Financial Aid. This is an exempt, full-time position beginning June of 2023. This position will report to the Vice President of Finance and Administration.
The Director of Financial Aid has responsibility for the function of the Financial Aid Office and its support of students through planning, organizing and administering federal, state, institution and private financial aid programs and their related compliance.
Additional duties would include, but are not limited to: Administering financial aid programs with thorough knowledge of guidelines and regulations, preparing audit documents and working with external auditors, completing periodic reports required by the Federal Government, making recommendations to the annual scholarship strategy committee, maintaining statistical data on financial aid programs and government assistance programs, and overseeing the Financial Aid Administrative Assistant and Assistant Director of Financial Aid.

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent to three years of experience in the field of financial management, with at least one year of that experience being college or university focused.
- At least two years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of federal financial aid programs.
