The City of Yankton is currently accepting applications for a Circulation Assistant at the Yankton Community Library.

Circulation Assistants are responsible for providing customer service, assisting patrons with computer and technology questions; shelving books; assisting the public in the use of eBooks, the online catalog, and other basic computer functions such as email and Microsoft programs; in addition to reserving, renewing and checking out materials.

Positive customer service skills, multi-tasking abilities, and computer skills are essential. This number of hours available would be flexible between 10-21 hours per week and may include evening hours. This person would also be expected to work 1 or 2 weekends each month. This is a year-round position and the starting wage is $11.00 per hour. This position is not entitled to benefits. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
