Shipping Clerk (Weeknights M-Th 4:30pm - 3:00am) 

Truxedo, a Truck Hero company, is currently hiring a Shipping Clerk for our rapidly growing operations in Yankton, South Dakota. The Shipping Clerk will work Monday through Friday 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Manages inventory (FIFO, housekeeping, research)

Proper operation of mobile equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including lift truck, pallet jack and scissor lift.

Processes outbound orders, including stock, single, internal and internet, by gathering related paperwork, palletizing and packaging.

Processes all outbound postal shipments.

Maintains shipment pace to meet on-time delivery requirements.

Works closely with freight carriers to schedule trucks to ensure on-time delivery requirements.

Accurately inputs transactions for outbound shipments by entering data into shipping software.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay and Benefits:

NEW starting wages from $15.75 to $18.25 an hour depending upon shift and position, with a wage progression as the job is learned, and the opportunity for annual increases.
