KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: The Restore Donation Specialist position is responsible for promoting a friendly, energetic attitude as an ambassador for the Habitats mission. They must represent the organization favorably within the community and develop and maintain good relationships with customers, donors, volunteers, and partners. Attitude is everything! ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Responsible for coordinating and carrying out any donation pick-ups/drop-offs • Resolve customer complaints and ask for assistance when needed • Successfully complete daily tasks at the restore • Follow all Habitat and ReStore policies and procedures • Ability to screen products being donated • Performs related duties as required but not articulated KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Ability to take the initiative on tasks, anticipates and sets priorities, and meets deadlines • Ability to keep highly sensitive personal and financial information confidential • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to delegate work and instruct volunteers • Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task • Must have the ability to travel when needed, which requires a valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a vehicle PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB:\ • Ability to stand/walk on concrete surfaces for a long period • Ability to work in a warehouse setting subject to heat, cold, dust, etc • Ability to lift 30-75lbs; carry 30lbs; push 50lbs; pull 50lbs • Ability to stoop or kneel to move merchandise properly; • Ability to climb a ladder Reports to: Restore Manager Hours: This is a Full-time position of up to 40 hours of work per week with occasional Saturday and evening hours The statement herein is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed but is not to be seen as a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
