Yankton Thrive Logo Featured in National Design Publication

Yankton, SD (August 19, 2022) — The new visual identity for Yankton Thrive is one of 3,000 logos to appear in LogoLounge Book 13, a bestselling series featuring the latest and greatest in identity design from accomplished designers around the world.

Launched in 2002, LogoLounge is a research and networking tool for graphic designers who create corporate identities or logos. In 2006, LogoLounge published its first book, LogoLounge Book 1. LogoLounge 13 features logos curated from more than 36,000 submissions by an expert panel of the most revered names in the design industry.

Created in 2021, Yankton Thrive merged the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and Yankton Area Progressive Growth to provide a central agency for boosting business and building a better community. In 2020, the group enlisted Sioux Falls-based advertising agency Fresh Produce to lead the rebranding effort. The final identity is inspired by the values of the merging organizations: welcoming, innovation, nature, and vibrancy.

"Thrive was embarking on a new path as a merged organization and the rising sun symbolizes the new ideas rising every day. We are a tourism and agriculture community along with major industry so the symbolism of water and green fields feels so right," said Nancy Wenande, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yankton Thrive. "We are honored to have worked with Fresh Produce and proud the collaboration created a logo worthy of such an esteemed publication."

LogoLounge Book 13 was published in August of 2022. The hardcover book is available for purchase at logolounge.com/books. In addition to logos, the book features case studies from respected designers.
