Description
After many requests, the Mead Museum is featuring lefse as our Historic Cooking class! Lefse is a traditional soft Norwegian flatbread that is made of flour and sometimes riced potatoes! The tradition of making lefse was brought to America by Norwegian immigrants. Rob will explain how to make lefse using traditional methods on Sunday September 17 at 2 PM at the Mead Museum. Registration cost is $10 for Non-members & $5 for Members. All supplies will be provided. Contact Rob by calling 605-665-3898 or by email at programs@meadbuilding.org to register. Registration deadline is September 14. Minimum class size: 5. Maximum class size: 15.
