Yankton Celebrates Make Music Day at Riverside Park (near the Amphitheater) on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 6-9 pm. Make Music Day is a one-day event where FREE, live musical performances, opportunities to make music and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. Everyone from professional musicians to people who have never picked up an instrument are invited to join in the Global Music Celebration by attending this Community Gathering! We will gather in a Circle and take turns sharing our love of music through songs, chants, sing-alongs, instrumental offerings, groups ‘soundings’, drumming (if drummers come), and MORE! The experience is formed by Who Shows up! All are welcome!
