About Us

Soccer has become a booming sport in Yankton. Construction of the new $2.5M First Dakota Soccer Complex is underway and expected to be ready in the spring of 2024. This new complex will feature seven natural surface fields, a comfort station, a new parking lot and convenient access from Highway 81 and Highway 50.

There are recreational leagues for ages 5-19. There are also several very successful travel teams from Yankton. It is also a high school sport in Yankton. Mount Marty University also has a men's and women's soccer team. The high school and college soccer games are played at Crane-Youngworth Field.

The youth soccer association also hosts a pair of indoor tournaments in the winter and early spring utilizing indoor gym space at Yankton schools.
