The Yankton Community Library will be providing several exciting afternoon programs in February for kids in grades K-5. All programs are free and will take place on Thursdays at 3:45pm. Lego Club will be held on Thursday, February 2nd at 3:45pm. We provide the Legos; you provide the ideas. Come build with us! Yankton Community Library’s 50th Birthday Party
You’re invited to celebrate the Yankton Community Library’s fiftieth year at 515 Walnut, on Friday, February 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fifty years ago, on February 10, 1973 the community gathered for a celebratory ribbon cutting of the new library location on 515 Walnut Street. In honor of this landmark anniversary we are asking all library users, supporters, and staff to gather together to reminisce about the last 50 years, and to dream about all that can happen in the next half century. February Teen Programs
The Yankton Community Library invites teens in grades 6-12 to join us for teen events at the library. All events are free and no registration is required. We will have a Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting on Wednesday, February 8th at 4:00 pm. We will meet to plan and discuss future teen events in the library. SPARK, a coalition of representatives from a variety of human service organizations, is hosting its next COMMUNITY CONVERSATION on Friday, February 3, 2023. THE CLOTHING CLOSET – Winter Clothing Drive
United Way’s Clothing Closet program would like to announce a Winter Clothing Drive to support their mission of offering community members who are struggling to make ends meet the opportunity to receive free, quality clothing in a dignified, and welcoming space.
