Brenda Rueb most recently served as the director of external operations at Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C. Her previous experience in health care includes administrator at Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, P.C. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – management from the University of South Dakota.
When Ben Hanten opened Ben’s Brewing Co. in 2005, there was not much demand from residents for craft beers or even knowledge regarding them.“I wanted to make craft beer interesting and create a culture around it,” he said. “Today, there is definitely a demand for and knowledge of craft beer in Yankton.” Hanten has grown with that demand, opening a second Yankton location on May 30, called Ben’s Brew Station, at the former Freeman Company building, about a half mile north of the downtown location.
The Summit Activities Center will be offering two Lifeguard Training Courses this Fall. The first class will be held November 19-20, 2021 with the Pre-test on Thursday, October 7, at 7:00pm. The second class will be held December 10-12, 2021 with the Pre-test on Thursday, November 4, at 7:00pm. Class times for each course will be Friday from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am – 8:00pm, and Sunday from 8:00am – 8:00pm. Attendance is mandatory for ALL classes AND the prerequisite testing.
