Yankton Thrive will be hosting an informative discussion on Initiated Measure 28, a measure to repeal the state’s existing tax on items sold for human consumption.
This event will feature an educational discussion with representatives from both sides of the measure: Rick Weiland, US politician, the measure's sponsor, and Nathan Sanderson, executive director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, opposing the measure.
Please note, this will not be a debate but rather an informative session designed to help voters make informed decisions.
