The Yankton Community Library Foundation and the Mead Museum are excited to sponsor the twelfth annual Historic Cemetery Walk on Wednesday, June 4 at Yankton’s Municipal Cemetery. We hope you join us for this fun and memorable event!
This year the cemetery tour will highlight historical figures in education! You’ll have a chance to “meet” Kate & Jennie Stewart, Anna Hoyt-Livingston, Chester A. Beaver, Bartlett Tripp, and Theron A. Harmon.
Tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, May 14 at the Yankton Community Library, 515 Walnut Street. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth 12 and under. Cash or check only. Tour times will be at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Each tour last approximately one hour. Those interested are encouraged to buy their tickets early, as spaces are limited!
