Pokéman Club
Description
Calling all Pokémon trainers! The Yankton Community Library is establishing a new Pokémon Club! Whether you’re already a Pokémon master, or you’re just starting to collect them all, join us for all things Pokémon at our twice monthly meetings. Trainers will be able to learn about and play the trading card game, trade cards, and participate in other Pokémon-themed activities. Attend meetings to collect badges and earn prizes.
During the summer months, YCL is excited to partner with the Mother Jerome Schmitt Library to host Pokémon Club in the library at Mount Marty University. Our second club meeting will be Wednesday, June 24 at 3:30 PM in the Mother Jerome Schmitt Library at Mount Marty University. At this meeting, we will have deck building tips and time for game play!
Visitor parking is available in Lots B & C. Grab a map from the Yankton Community Library if you need some assistance! Pokémon Club is for all ages, but geared for trainers aged 8 and older.
The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) have partnered with The Pokémon Company International to provide resources to establish Pokémon Clubs at libraries.
