Puzzles, Pranks, and (Pizza) Pie
Description
Think you’re good at puzzles?! What if the team next to you can pay to freeze your team? Registration is open for an April Fools’ Day puzzle competition on Wednesday, April 1 at 6 pm at the Yankton Community Library. Join us and outsmart the chaos!
Build your puzzle squad and test your skills against other teams in a fun competition. Teams of 1-4 participants will race to complete an identical 500-piece jigsaw puzzle in the fastest time. This event is open to all ages. Registration for this event is required, along with a fee for each team, due at the time of registration.
Bring your dollars to buy power-ups, grab bags, and pranks! As the only puzzle battle where “cheating” is encouraged, there will be plenty of opportunities for teams to spend money to prank their fellow puzzlers! You may be able to ‘freeze’ a team, quiet the room, swap a player, or have a team go find a book with a dog on the cover. You may even have to take a selfie in the main library! There will also be opportunities to win prizes! All sabotage supports the Friends of the Yankton Community Library!
Prizes will be awarded to the two fastest teams, with the top prize of $100 Yankton Thrive Bucks! Pizza and refreshments will be served during the event. Extra pieces of pizza will be available for purchase, along with a selection of puzzles.
If you need additional accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the library.
