ABOUT THE POSITION
CNC Machinists set up an operator Machine Shop machines to close tolerances. Accurately determines feed, speed, tooling, and operating sequences as prescribed in drawings, layout, or other specifications. Safely perform a series of progressive machining operations for diversified machining tasks to close and exact tolerances.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 or more years of experience with the following machines: manual lathes, saws, small and large drills, broach, threading machine, CNC machining centers, horizontal and vertical lathes.
- College degree in mechanical tool technology preferred.
- Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
