Marketing & Community Events Coordinator

Pay: Based on Education and Experience

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and distribute marketing materials for NEYAC programs, events, and facility offerings.

  •  Manage communication with members and participants through email marketing, newsletters, social media, the website, and news updates.

  • Partner with recreation staff to promote facility programming.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including schools, nonprofits, boards, and local organizations.

  • Lead marketing initiatives to promote NEYAC at the local, regional, national, and international levels.

  • Collaborate with staff to design new programs and initiatives that increase participation and visibility.

  • Manage non-archery facility rentals such as meetings, charity events, trade shows, and private functions. Oversee inquiries, contracts, billing, event layouts, setup, teardown, and staff scheduling.

  • Assist with the development of new programs and provide support to the Mount Marty Archery program as needed.

  • Help coordinate setup, teardown, and staffing for archery and community events.

  • Support national and international archery events hosted by the NFAA Foundation, including The Vegas Shoot, Rushmore Rumble, First Dakota Classic, and others.

Qualifications
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design or experience in event and project management.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable with Mac/Apple systems, including Excel and Word.

  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with a positive, professional demeanor.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism when working with participants, sponsors, vendors, and board members.

  • Physically able to perform event-related tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, with some travel required.

  • Team-oriented mindset with initiative and persistence.
