Tour De Yankton Jobs 2022 Offers Hiring Event and Business Tours For May
PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR) in partnership with Yankton Thrive and Riverfront Broadcasting will host its second Tour De Yankton Jobs Hiring Event on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. CDT. The event will be hosted on the third Tuesday every month and is available at no cost to businesses and job seekers. The Tour De Yankton Hiring Event and Tour is designed to allow job seekers the opportunity to explore a variety of career opportunities located in Yankton.
Ribbon Wreath Adult Craft
The Yankton Community Library is excited to host Adult Craft Night on Thursday, May 26th at 6:30 pm. This month we will be designing ribbon wreaths! Supplies for this craft are provided. Participants are welcome to use the library’s cloth ribbon or bring their own cloth ribbon to make a beautiful wreath. May Preschool and Under Programs and Elementary Programs
The winter/spring session of Storytime will end on Thursday, April 21st. After a short break, Storytime will begin again for our summer session on the week of June 6th. When Ben Hanten opened Ben’s Brewing Co. in 2005, there was not much demand from residents for craft beers or even knowledge regarding them.“I wanted to make craft beer interesting and create a culture around it,” he said. “Today, there is definitely a demand for and knowledge of craft beer in Yankton.” Hanten has grown with that demand, opening a second Yankton location on May 30, called Ben’s Brew Station, at the former Freeman Company building, about a half mile north of the downtown location.
