Due to our continued growth, the Dakota MAC division of First Dakota National Bank is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our Yankton team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential investors, and developing strategies to increase company revenue and market presence. This position works closely with senior leadership, marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Hours include Monday-Friday 8-5.
Duties
- Identify and Research Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential expansion opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish strong relationships with new and existing investors and Ag Production Officers.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the existing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Be a partner with Ag Production Officers in the origination and servicing of the loan portfolio.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential investors.
- Market Expansion: Explore and identify new markets for the company’s offices, products or services.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. Provide regular reports and feedback to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Dakota MAC and First Dakota internal teams, to ensure client needs are met and business objectives are achieved.
- Other duties as assigned.
