Director of Annual Giving, Communications, and Events
 

This is an exempt, full-time position and must adhere to the regulations stipulated in the Mount Marty University Employee Handbook. The Director of Annual Giving, Communications & Events leads the execution of annual giving strategy, donor communications, and Advancement events to drive donor participation, engagement, and support for institutional priorities.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and execution of annual giving strategy, including:
    • ​Fall Appeal
    • Giving Day 
    • End-of-Year Giving
  • Develop and manage donor communications, including:
    • ​Messaging and content
    • Segmentation and targeting
    • Digital and multi-channel outreach
  • Manage and execute the annual giving calendar, ensuring timely and coordinated campaigns
  • Oversee the partnership with a service provider, including:
    • ​Campaign execution 
    • Performance tracking
    • Return on investment 
  • Plan and execute all Advancement events, including:
    • ​Golf Classic
    • President's Society Lunch
    • Alumni and Friends Event 
  • Coordinate Alumni Council engagement in alignment with Advancement priorities
  • Collaborate with Advancement staff to ensure events and communications support donor engagement and fundraising strategy
  • Evaluate performance of annual giving, communications, and events, using data to inform strategy and improve results
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (relevant field preferred) or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in annual giving, communications, events, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University
